Large Royal Doulton 'Monty' Toby Jug. Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery was a senior British Army Officer who fought in both WW1 and WW2. Monty is remembered in particular for his command of the Eighth Army in the WW2 campaigns in North Africa and Italy. He was popular with his men as he was a cautious leader who put a high price on the lives of his soldiers. The jug is free from chips or cracks. Height 15.5cm.
